Amenities

The Amenities (also known as the “fun stuff”) at Lake Wildwood are getting better and better because of a dedicated group of volunteers.

So what is out here?

1. The Playground – has swings, some climbing equipment, a slide, a couple of benches for “older children”, and even a dock where you can go watch the “hobo ducks” on the inlet (they’re always looking for a handout!). From the front gate, turn left onto Greentree and drive maybe about a mile. The playground is on your right.

2. Mini-golf – 18 holes of pure fun, especially if you don’t take yourself too seriously. The minigolf course is currently being renovated – the paint is dry and we’re raising money for new carpet!

3. Swimming pool – Olympic-sized in length, with a 12-foot depth in the deep end.

4. Beach / Gazebos / Swingset – the beach (below the swimming pool and clubhouse) has a marked-off swimming area, some gazebos that are great for picnicing, and even bathrooms close by.

5. Clubhouse – used for most of the official meetings at Lake Wildwood, voting, and other events. It is available for rent by inside AND outside groups.

From the front gate, turn RIGHT onto Greentree. Go through 2 stop signs, then start looking for King Arthur Drive – but NOT the first one! Turn left the SECOND time King Arthur shows up on the left – you’ll see the entrance to the Clubhouse, Pool, and Beach just in front of the minigolf, on the right.

5. Boat launch and docks – at the spillway. From the front gate, turn left onto Greentree. Drive on Greentree until you get to it! Careful going down that final hill, though – you can bust a shock or tire if you take the hill too fast.
